The North Carolina Youth Rugby Union (NCYRU) was formed in the summer of 2010 by the merger of CYR Board of Directors (Carolina Youth Rugby) and North Carolina High School Board of Directors.

This unification brings a critical mass of expertise that can cohesively grow the general involvement of youth in the great sport of rugby and introduce it as a genuine alternative sport within NC High Schools. NCYRU is the umbrella State Based Organization for youth rugby in the state of North Carolina.

We coordinate with all forms of youth rugby providing opportunities for all to participate in the sport.
